When an anonymous broker hires Tyorl and Roxy to deliver a curious artifact, the Obsidian Lens, straight into the warded stronghold of dark sorcerer Malachar Veyneth, Tyorl is pulled inexorably back to West Point. Donning the chimera mask at the aristocratic Grand Masquerade, he wades into a viper’s nest of noble intrigue where the truth of his past might finally be revealed, or cost him his life.
